I recently did the make-up at the Sex and the City-inspired ‘Sublime in the City’ Fashion show at the Odyssey Arena. You can see some of the shots here.

Last week was really hectic- as well overseeing our Fashion and Photographic Student’s photo-shoot at the University of Ulster, I also did the make-up at the hugely successful ‘Deadly Designer’ night of the Magners Light Spring into Summer Fashion show at St. Georges Market.

Our Fashion and Photographic student’s High Fashion photo-shoot took place last week. For this shoot we collaborated with the University of Ulster’s Fashion department, using some of the third year student’s designs and shooting on location at the University. Oonagh will be doing the make-up at the ‘Deadly Designer’ night of the Magners Light ‘Spring into Summer’ fashion show.

For any of you that think that working in the fashion industry is glamorous- think again! This shoot took place two days after Christmas in the freezing cold and rain at the Ulster Folk and Transport Museum, but we think it was worth the suffering!

The school recently had a stand at the Glow Show at the Kings Hall, and was inundated with inquiries from both beauty professionals involved in the show and members of the public looking for a career change.
