As usual the summer months have been hectic with photo-shoots and press-calls for Autumn fashion launches. My Brides have kept me busy during the last few months, in total I have been involved in over 15 wedding since June!! Summer also gives me a welcome opportunity to update the School coursework with current make-up techniques and new ideas. .
Lunns II TV and Billboard Campaign: At the beginning of the summer I did the make-up for the Lunns ad campaign which has been featured on TV and billboards all over Northern Ireland .
Fall for Fashion Show Press-call: Last week I did the press pictures for ‘Fall for Fashion’, a fashion event that takes place in St. Georges Market at the end of September. These pictures will be on the front cover of ‘Go Belfast’ as well as in other magazines and newspapers. Pictures will be featured shortly as they are currently ‘top secret’!!!
Ulster Bride Photo-shoot: Just days ago I did the make-up for the fashion editorial for the Autumn edition of Ulster Bride. The shoot featured some beautiful bridal gowns, and was shot on location al Belfast ’s Reform Club. As usual I wrote my two page beauty and make-up feature for Ulster Bride, this will be posted on my website when the magazine is issued.
Junction 1 Advertising Campaign: Tomorrow I’m doing the make-up for the new advertising campaign for Junction 1, which will be shot on location in Galgorm Manor.
I’ll post the pictures from these shoot as soon as I can, so make sure you look out for them!
School updates.
We’ve really been inundated with applicants for our courses over the summer, especially the Fashion and Photographic Make-up Diploma. The September and November intakes of this course are both full and we currently have one place remaining on the January intake! After that we’ll be accepting applications for March 2009.
The September intake of the Advanced Make-up Diploma is now full and we are accepting applications for Spring 2009.
