Spring into Summer

The fashion event ‘Magners Light Spring into Summer’ was a huge success again this season, although it was two days of hard work for us!!
On the first night ‘Something Old, Something New’ (high street and vintage fashion) the trends were eighties, romance, sports-luxe and granny chic, so coming up with a make-up that would work with all these trends was quite a challenge!! In the end I went for a smouldering brown eye and sculpted cheeks inspired by the 80’s supermodels, teamed with various bright lip-colours, depending on the model’s colouring and the outfits they were wearing- pink, orange, purple and red.
For the second night, ‘Deadly Designer’, the outfits tend to be more classic and feminine so I went for a prettier, more colourful look, inspired by the original ‘Spring into Summer’ look I had created for the press picture, in different colour ways: green eyes with red lips and blue eyes with pink lips.
