When you look at a beautiful fashion image in a magazine you probably don´t realise the work that is going on behind the scenes. So i thought I´d give you a bit of an insight into our student´s photoshoot which took place on Wednesday.
Photo-shoots tend to be very busy, usually quite stressful and much less glamorous than anyone would think. There are a lot of people involved in a shoot- the photographer, stylist, make-up artist, hairdresser, models, creative director and assistants, usually all trying to get on with their jobs as quickly as possible in a confined space, either in a studio or on location.
At our students shoots there are eight make-up artists, all doing two looks on different models and in a very strict time-frame. The students are always very nervous, as it is usually their first time in a shoot environment and there is a lot of pressure on them to deliver a beautiful make-up. Luckily everything went very well on Wednesday!
Check out the pictures below for an idea of what a photo-shoot is actually like and next week I will post the end result in my diary.
