The six girls have done really well to get this far, having beaten off stiff competition from the other students in their academic year.
JUDGING
To achieve a place in the final, the graduates were judged on their portfolio- both the work they did while here at the school and that they have done since graduating, their thesis, and their letter of achievement and business intent.
THE COMPETITION
The final of the Make-up Excellence Awards takes place here at the school next Thursday 11 February. We have given the finalists the brief of ´Fallen Angel´, which they must interpret in their own way to produce a make-up that they will present to the juges, backed up by a moodboard. They will then be interviewed by the judges.
THE JUDGES
Our judges this year are Lara Salmon (Ulster Tatler´s Woman Editor and Assistant Editor of the Ulster Bride) Jim Crone (Top Fashion Photographer, Tracey Hall (Director of Style Academy Model Agency) Lisa Majury (Ireland Sales Manager of a Global Make-up Brand) and Azelia Jackson (Head of the Elite Team of Make-up Artists).
THE WINNER
The Winner will be announced at the first night of Magner´s Light Spring into Summer, which will take place on Tuesday 23 March in St Georges Market.
